Hospice Volunteers Need	PIH Program	The Whittier Art Gallery
Hospice Volunteers are needed in our community to provide supportive services to terminally ill patients and their families. VITAS Innovative Hospice Care is seeking caring individuals who can commit an average of two hour per week to make a difference. They also need crafter for lap robes and/or personalized Memory Bears. The only qualification are a caring heart, the ability to listen, and a willingness to learn. For information about the next training class, please contact LIbby Davis, Volunteer Manager at (714) 734-2723 or email elizabethdavis@vitas.com	Seniors in motions is an exercise class designed for those 55 years of age or better, It includes: flexibility and strength training, balance, cardiovascular conditioning & fun and camaraderie with other active seniors. These classes are every Tuesday and Friday for beginners and moderates from 3:00 to 4:00PM and every Thursday for the more advanced from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. The cost is $2.00 per class for members and $3.00 per class for non members. For more information, please contact the Senior Life Center at (562) 698-0811 ext. 2444.	Miniatures and More is the 2nd annual presentation by the Whittier Art Gallery on December 5- 30. This is an all-media juried exhibition of small works of fine art. The gallery is located at 8035 Painter Avenue in Whittier. The hours are noon to 5 PM, Wednesday - Sunday.
